Please post a more accurate depth chart if you can, I'm sure I've left people out and have some things wrong.
Anyway, the point is, we have made some upgrades but a lot of work remains. I'd like to see 2 more new starters in the OL, one or 2 more at DL and a couple more linebackers. Pick up 3 or 4 more new starters, slide the incumbents down the chart, and we don't look that bad, especially in the AFC West. I'd say it's realistic to pick up 1 or 2 new starters from the draft. So if we can get 2 more new starters in free agency and from other teams cuts, that would be a really great offseason, filling most of the big holes.
Most of the time, that would be unrealistic to pick up that many new starters, up this team had so many holes, it's not that hard to add that many new starters.

Dont worry
Our biggest upgrade was a new Franchise QB and a veteran leader on Defense. We could start the season as is and still be better than last year. So anything Pioli does from here on out is just extra. The draft….after draft free agency..and trades.
Go Chiefs!!

Stick Curry where Boiman is
and our LB core is pretty damn solid.

Agreed
Also, the center class this year is deep. I would expect us to be able to get a good one rds 3-4. Then, we could move Niswanger over to RG to compete for job. RT will probably be a free for all at that point.

Yeah, he should be gone.
He is a good player but is not durable enough to play in the NFL.
I still don’t understand why they cut Quinn Gray. He’s pretty good and I would rather see him as our #3 than Croyle or Martin for sure. Gray looked pretty good when he played at Jax and showed that he could win.

Draft QB
History shows that Pioli likes to draft QB’s late in the draft. I would bet he does this year and if so I think Brodie is out.
I am ok with BC as a 3rd stringer and hope he doesn’t use a pick on a QB this year.

Thigpen fills that role
7th round quarterback with a lot of promise. This is why we’ll either keep Tyler or trade him for an early day two and a late rounder and se the late rounder to get that quaterback
Time is a great teacher... unfortunately it kills all it's pupils.

This looks good
At least we have made progress at ILB and OLB, More depth at WR
A QB to build around and some players for special teams/depth.
GREAT start keep it coming

Babin
played LOLB in Texas, Boiman has always played LOLB (except here), Vrabel will be an inside LB, Corey Mays was the Bengals #2 MLB last season, and as discussed before Johnston can possibly drop back to OLB. So we have some versatility. I don’t see Hali fitting into any 3-4 scheme and wonder about McBride too.
