Remember to Check Earlier FanPosts & FanShots before you post
Hello everyone,
We've had lots of activity around recently, which is great. One annoying aspect of all of these new visitors is that not every checks the recently posted FanPosts or FanShots to see if what they're about to post has been covered already.
Before you post on a topic, take a quick glance through the FanPosts or FanShots to see if it's already been posted there. That will help us avoid uncessary FanPosts and FanShots and clean up the clutter.
Thanks.
-Chris
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

It would be ironic
if Primetime made a post about this same thing. Do it Prime.
Thanks for posting this.
Instead of everyone posting what Madden like trades they hope for and who they think we should draft, maybe they could put them in the comments of someone else’s or maybe just on one thread to get rid of all the clutter…..

Couldn't agree more with this Chris
I really love AP and everyone here is great but sometimes I come here and feel like things are way too cluttered, great suggestion.

.....
I got criticized by everyone here for saying something similar a few weeks back…
But I could not agree more…
I am A Guppy
I think we all don’t have time to see all.
But we should check and verify.
The COOL thing is that we want to tell our FRIENDS.
The search function towards the top makes it a pretty quick check.
I think things have gotten worse since this was posted. Do people understand this isn’t a message board?
Good call, Chris
Another thing that would help would be using the fanshots as they were intended, and in general not post ‘breaking news’ in the fanposts.
There are times when more than half the fanposts are just breaking news items, already covered (typically by jaykc, nice work, bro) and if somehow he hasn’t posted it yet, put it up as a fanshot instead of a fanpost.
+ a lot
There really shouldnt be more than 4-5 fan post a day but there seems to be 10 minimum every time I check in (2-3 times a day). Please, please, please keep fan posts to a minimum my fellow Chief fans. A lot of times u can post your fan post idea as a comment in an existing fan post (like the 3-4 or 4-3 posts we get every day) with a similar topic. People will comment on what you have to say in there.
Thank you Chris!

Yes....
God have mercy…
They have good content but not good enough to force a good fanpost off the main page
Glad everyone likes the suggestion
We’ll have to work at it but I think we’ll ultimately get through this growing pain.
Here's a good guide from Buffalo Rumblings
to fanposts. I’ve only had a log in for a few months now, before I just observed and never commented, and I’ve never made a fanpost, but this seems like a good guide.

Yeah it is really nice, I think I'll use it soon in a post
- Try to keep newsworthy items without significant opinion added to the FanShots section.
- Recommend the crap out of FanPosts that you find particularly insightful.
- Associate players and teams, add polls, and link back to your previous work.
- Link as often as possible.
- Keep headlines relevant and simple.
- Be respectful, civil, and most of all, have fun in this section. This is your blog. Use it well!
