Engram talking about Qwest (Seattle's stadium)
Maybe he doesn't know how loud Arrowhead can get when things are right.
"I'll miss Qwest with the 12th Man," Engram said. "Just running out of that tunnel, there's not much in life that can replace that thrill and that adrenaline rush. And I'll miss the city. I'll miss the views, the June days when the mountains are out and the air is so fresh."
As it appears, we're trying to sprinkle last year's team with some veteran presence. I think we may be close to being a .500 team this upcoming year. I still want to see a few more FAs (OL, DL, LB).

Qwest was built to be loud
They have METAL BLEACHERS there for gods sake. It’s ridiculous. Very loud stadium.
Arrowhead hasn’t been too good the last couple of years.

Corperate America run amok
I flew to Seattle in 2002 to watch the Chiefs play. I will admitt it was a nice new stadium, but, I wouldn’t trade it for Arrowhead in a million years. Besides it looking like home shopping network blew up inside of it, the atmosphere was that of a “pleasent corperate outing”. much to subdoed(sp?) and proper I sensed. Outside, the group I was with was reprimanded by security for fire grilling and throwing a football around. To many nice cars in the lot I guess. Let Seattle have Quest, We’ve got Arrowhead!

WOW!
Ticketed for grilling??? I think there would be a riot among KC fans! haha
I think that there is a lot of anticipation and expectations for our Chiefs this year, and just wait until Engram gets a load of ours fans! He will be blown away and totally forget all about that damn “corperate” stadium! GO CHIEFS!!!

Dear Mr. Bobby
I understand that you are being polite and politically correct by saying what you said, but sir, As a long time Chiefs fan, Nothing is more beautiful than a day at 1 Arrowhead Drive, aka ARROWHEAD~ The Smell of LEGALLY cooked BBQ is everywhere, and the sounds of the fans preparing for the battle surround, the stadium is rocking, the sounds of 610/810 radio are everywhere, we EAT, WE DRINK and we make NOISE sir, THIS IS A DAY AT ARROWHEAD, and once you experience it ( home opener ), YOU SIR, will gladly retract your comments on QWEST and simply say~
DAMN YOU CHIEFS FAN ROCK!
goooo CHIEFS
