Numbers game?
Cassel is still numberless, while Beisel and Engram have been assigned 55 and 84 respectively. What does it all mean? Copper has no number, Pat Thomas and Rocky Boiman have n number. Maybe they are all being packaged in a Deal for Cutler and Haynesworth and our #3 and our first in 2014? Who knows?

Wonder what # Cassel is trying to get.
I can’t imagine not assigning numbers would be a sign of a trade or anything. Just seems far fetched IMO.

Of all the QB #s that he can choose, there are several popular QB #s like 7, 10 & 11. I think by far the most popular or traditional QB # is 12. Maybe he wore 16 because Montana or someone else was his favorite player, I don’t know. 16 is not available for the Chiefs so why not pick a starting QB # like 12. Maybe he knows Brodie will not be using it this year. I also like 12.
Pat Thomas and Boiman are free agents
They probably won’t be on our team… hence no new assigned number.
