Seattle addressed it's most glaring need by signing TJ (my favorite TV Commercial) Houshmandzadeh in Free Agency. They also snuck in and swung a less-publicized deal which helped shore up their D-Line. Colin Cole won't sell a ton of jerseys like the aforementioned TJ, but his girth will bring some stability to the much criticized D-Line.

That said, there's no reason to put a band-aid on a sucking chest wound and call it fixed. The Seattle D-line couldn't stop a wet fart in 2008 and the addition of Cole will help, but won't solve the problem.

Enter the #4 pick BJ Raji from Boston College.

He's 340 lbs. of mean. He lead the nation with 16 tackles for loss and 8 sacks last year. He was the most dominant D-lineman at Senior Bowl and blasted 33 reps off the bench at the Combine. He brings immediate help to the D-line and gives the Seahawk LB's and secondary a much needed opportunity to perform up to their potential.

As a Chiefs fan, I have an unnatural aversion to picking defensive linemen (heck, defensive players) this high in the draft and Raji is no exception for me this year. He sat out the '07 season because of academic issues. He also received a Senior Bowl/Combine bump IMO, which for me throws his draft position up in the air. 

Even with my concerns, I didn't see the guy play and I can't make really any informed judgment about him. Those who have seen him play, chime in and help the rest of us.
