Since not all of you get to obsessively check Arrowhead Pride for hours a day, here's a roster roundup to help people get caught up.
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed/traded for six players; cut four players; re-signed one unrestricted free agent; and had a number of players in for free agent visits.
The Chiefs have 68 players on the roster. And as of right now, we'll add six players through the draft (possibly more if you don't forget about compensatory picks, which I think we'll get at least one).
That leaves about a half dozen or so players that the Chiefs will add at some point this off season. The current roster is far from concrete. Players currently on the roster will be cut as others at their position become available or they've worn out their potential with Todd Haley.
I've linked back to our discussions about some of those players in case you want to catch up.

Weigman...
He started all year and Wilkerson played a lot, hopefully that will be a 5 or 6.

That's what I was thinking
Weigmann or Wilkerson.

Wish we
would have retained Wilkerson. He’s got a lot of good football ahead of him

Looking back on it
We released him at about the worst possible time.

Didn't we cut Weigmann and Wilkerson?
I don’t think you get comp picks for people you cut, only people you lose to free agency.

Wilkerson was lost to FA
Weigmann was cut

Jones and Robertson
Gotta think these pick ups are just so Pioli can see guys he’s familiar with in a training camp atmosphere compete against guys he hasn’t seen, don’t really see either one making the roster.

Isn't Robertson a Linebacker?
Marley will be walking soon...she could probably play Linebacker better than some of the guys we had.

That's what the post on him says...
But I’ve never seen or heard of the guy till we signed him.

Yes he is
I’m changing it now. Darn FOX Sports…

We had room
for Weston Dacus, Erik Walden, and Curtis Gatewood at different times of the season last year. So I think there will definitely be a spot for Robertson. Jones? Notsomuch…..

I forgot all about compensatory picks...
It’s not looking good for Babin or McGraw, who I was hoping we’d see wear Red & Gold one more year

We resigned McGraw.
But I was hoping for Babin, too.

Pretty much
…notice the frog had his mouth open and was in shell-shock. Now THAT’s accuracy. It’s all about the accuracy with mouth agape.
