The Chiefs dropped out of the quarterback hunt when they traded for Matt Cassel. Now, Kansas City can go many directions with the No. 3-overall pick, but taking a quarterback will not be one of them.
"It's the known versus the unknown," said Chiefs coach Todd Haley, explaining why the Chiefs traded for Cassel instead of drafting a quarterback. "You've seen a guy perform in the NFL. I think that's a big item."
