Kurt Warner to Visit Other Teams

According to the NFLN Kurt Warner is ready to visit other teams.  I know he is not coming to KC now that we have Cassel but found it interesting.

With no deal in place with the Arizona Cardinals, QB Kurt Warner apparently is ready to shop his services elsewhere.

First stop: San Francisco.

At first I thought this is probaly just a negotiation tactic to get more money by showing the Cards that he could leave them. However his agent said that wasn't the case.

Bartelstein told the Sacramento Bee that Warner is genuine in his interest in playing elsewhere and not simply using the visit as a negotiating ploy to stay with the Cardinals.

“I know there’s a lot of skepticism out there,” Bartelstein said. “I’ll say this — the people that know Kurt Warner will tell you he doesn’t get into deals with people unless he is serious. He doesn’t use other people.”

Warner to leave Cards?

He's not going anywhere.

He was on the Dan Patrick show Friday saying only one team has contacted him (an NFC team). He pretty much said he was either staying in Arizona or retiring and that he wanted to be paid like a top 5 qb because of all he’s done. Can’t say I disagree with him so much.

That will not happen...

Too much wild speculation due to the secrecy that has happened and so on…But that would be a very dumb move…

that would be a total waste of money

Time is a great teacher... unfortunately it kills all it's pupils.
