Sources close to the situation have informed me that the New Orleans Saints are "looking closely" at San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson. The Saints would have a "high level of interest" if the Chargers were unable to come to terms on a new deal with Tomlinson.

CSC is calling this a rumor at this point but, wow. If Cutler and LT left, this opens the door for the AFC West in 2009.

A complementary back to replace McAllister. But if they’re looking for a guy who’ll be productive with 300 carries a year, they’re barking up the wrong tree.

I Don't Think He's That Much Of A Crybaby

He’s always been a team guy for his own team. He might be able to squeeze a few more years out of his career as a committee back…I just think he’s done as a primary.

Looks like I traded him off my fantasy team at just the right time. :)
