Details of Haley's contract
The Chiefs have hired Cardinals offensive coordinator Todd Haley as their new head coach Friday, the Kansas City Star reports. He is set to sign a four-year, $12 million contract.
Seems reasonable to me.
There’s little doubt that Haley is an offensive mastermind. His units with the Cardinals were some of the best in the league, and what he did for QB Kurt Warner’s career is nothing short of incredible. However, he has nowhere near the same quality of personnel in K.C., whose offense finished 24th last season.
We'll see how this talent looks after the offseason.

Looks like Pro Football Weekly posted citing the Star before the Star published this.
The other noteworthy part from the Star is that this is essentially the same contract Herm received 3 years ago. With inflation, an even cheaper deal.
