Albert Haynesworth signs 100M/7yr contract with Redskins

This according to espn.  Well after seeing what his price tag was, I'm sure glad we weren't throwing any offers like that towards him.  I hope we get some nice pick ups in free agency, but not at that price.  I am curious, Does the rest of AP feel that Haynesworth signed a deal that was too expensive for us sign someone at?   Thanks for the feedback,  I can not wait to see the results.

Poll
Would you have gave Haynesworth that much money to see him in a chiefs uniform for the next several years?
He is a beast and it would be worth it to see him terrorize teams as chief

He may be good, but there are better options for the money

Ridic

Absolutely stupid, ridiculously money for someone who occasionally takes plays off in CONTRACT years. This guy is not the kind of person you want to invest that kind of money in, unless you’re Dan Snyder and through your money away and want to become the next Al Davis. He is well on his way, I am glad he’s not my owner.

$100M and $41M gaurenteed...

For a player that has never played a 16 game season, and only plays about 60% of the defensive snaps in a game.
Coulda got 1 dominating rusher (50M) and 2 average players (25M each) to play the other 40% of the snaps. Or could get 3 average players (33M each) and rotate them every 2nd snap to make sure you ALWAYS had a guy with fresh strong legs on the field.
Typical Redskins behavior. Dan Snyder either still thinks he can buy a championship, or he doesn’t care about a superbowl and just knows that these kind of flashy deals sell season tickets and he does it for the money.
