Crabtree will not be drafted by Chiefs at #3
Breaking News:
INDIANAPOLIS -- Medical testing at the scouting combine here revealed that Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree, one of the top prospects in this year's NFL draft, has a slight stress fracture in his left foot that will require surgery to insert a screw, league sources said Saturday morning.
Theres no way the Chiefs can afford to draft another palyer and wait for him to get on the field to perform.

Foot Injury = No effect
whoever wants him is going to draft him, they aren’t going to let a small injury that will barely effect any of the offseason workouts with his future team deter them from drafting him
YES!
I’m glad this happened now I don’t have to worry about us drafting him… of coarse this means holding Crabtree as trade bait will be a lot tougher
Time is a great teacher... unfortunately it kills all it's pupils.
I don't know if Elway did that or not but...
do you know how much the cost of rookie contracts have gone up since Elway was drafted? It seems like it goes up by a few million every year.
seems like
this is evidence for what we already believed. those who wouldn’t have drafted Crabtree see it as further evidence that they shouldn’t, while those that would draft crabtree figure they’re getting a steal when other teams pass on a tiny fracture.
current Chiefs roster + 1 premiere LB FA + Crabtree + defensive draft = CONTENDAHS
"at least we don't need a punter"
