The Case for Chase Patton in the 7th or UDFA

How about drafting Chase Patton (Chase Daniel's backup) in the 7th round of the draft.  It looks like the dude is a beast and has some experience with the spread offense.  The guy is listed at 6'4 230 lbs.  The guy also seems interested in Kansas City; the article that I am going to link says that he has been accepted to a dental school in Kansas City.  I really think that you have to take a look at him, espically considering what Matt Cassel has done.  They pretty much look idential as far as drafting is concerned.  Matt Cassel was a college backup that had success............ can Chase Patton have the same success even though he comes out of Mizzou??????  Here is the article----- http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?section=magazine&id=3632340

What do yall think????

Possible

It could be possible to grab him in the 7th round, or FA, and develop him.

ESPN the Magazine did an article on him during the season.

Being an the NFL prototype with his size and arm compared to Chase Daniel. It talked about both of them. Good article for read.

I go to Mizzou

and when Chase Daniel was sucking it up this year we were all hoping Patton would get a chance to show what he’s got. I can’t say whether or not he’d be worth it but he definitely has the measurables to be a good QB.

How is it there with Basketball doing so well?

I am like the only Mizzou fan here in Florida.

Jayhawk Fan

I’m a Kansas fan and i definetly have to say the Mizzou fans are getting cockier ever since they beat Kansas 62-60. Don’t be surprised if we storm the court when we blow you guys out at Allen Fieldhouse.

yeah

only Mizzou, and K-state fans do that, especially when they beat us.

I wouldn't be surprised if you beat us there.

But don’t be surprised if we end your home winning streak either.

Good luck with Oklahoma on Monday

It sure was hard to tell Blake Griffen had a concussion.
He looked sorta the same either way.
See ya next week MU :)

Yes and

no Mizzou b-ball team has been playing great this year and so has KU. Not to much was expected out of either. not as much as Mizzou’s football team last year
