Gardner also interviewed with Kansas City. Former Georgia Tech coach Chan Gailey is on the Chiefs’ coaching staff.
Gardner was measured at 6-foot-6 1/2 inches and weighed 304 pounds.
"I think the most important thing for me at the combine is to show that I’m progressing well from my shoulder injury and that I’ll be able to participate come mini-camp time," Gardner said. "Just show that I’m getting healthy more than anything."
