Peppers gets even more unlikely
The number 1 guy for most of our chiefs fans just got even more untouchable. In this article it is stated why we wont be seeing peppers in our chiefs uniforms.

Unless of course that one team would be us. Doubftul though. Then even if he isn't franchised and traded why would we go somewhere other than those 4 teams if he could go to any 31 teams.

Why not the Chiefs?
We’re apparently a 3-4 team which is what he wants. We have the cap space. And we have a major need at DE.
Peppers
It’s more along the lines of what he wants. Yeah he wants a 3-4 but not at DE he wants OLB. I think he wants to see how high his sack totals can go by playing the OLB in a 3-4. Do you think he’s a little bit jealous of Demarcus Ware and James Harrison? I think that AFC team is probably Miami. They’re a playoff team and he gets to live on South Beach. Plus he would be playing opposite of Joey Porter. That’s a hell of a duo.
because we suck
and he probably wants the stats AND to win
Not Sure About That
He’s apparently only got one AFC team on that list and I find it kind of doubtful it would be one coming off a 2-14 season. Miami or New England would probably be higher on the list. I think that if Peppers does hit free agency, the only way he comes to KC is if the Chiefs break the bank for him.
I have absolutely no idea who the Chiefs will draft or sign in free agency and anyone who thinks that they know is talking out of their fourth point of contact.
All I know is that the Chiefs are going to field a better team in 2009. Prediction of team record will be submitted after the 2009 draft.
Too much money
The team concept will overwhelm the superstar. We have enough cap room to round it all out if we play it smart. That will really help us become competitive.

Peppers = me
The Chiefs aren’t going to get very many “me” players until Haley has shown he can control and button up the two that we already have. We’ll see what happens with LJ, and that will be the barometer for a couple years to come.
All I have to say is "Thank you, Clark."
