Choirboy…I agree with you about the coach having an effect on his team. Herm “the player’s coach” was trying to treat a bunch of new players like veterans. The newbies needed to prove themselves before Herm started treating them like veterans.
I like Brokie but he needs to be the back-up. Thigpen showed he could stay healthy and at least be competitive.
To be the man you got to beat the man!!!!
maybe
maybe if brokie did real good in practice, he might have a chance. who knows? he could start working harder, and build up. he has a decent arm tho.
Brodie
Is probably a solid scout team quarterback at practice because he can’t get hit and, therefore, injured. There are a lot of things I like about Brodie Croyle but if you can’t be relied upon to take the field each week, you render yourself useless.
Never kick a fresh turd on a hot day.
Harry S. Truman
Is this intentional?
Not to distract from the topic, but… are people calling him “Brokie” because of his injuries, or is that a really messed up typo (seeing as the letter ‘K’ and ‘D’ are far away from each other on the keyboard)?
Except Brodie's been injury prone since college
his frame is too limber to be an NFL QB. and the fact is he’s BEEN sacked so many times his body may never be 100% again. this is a pretty stupid argument
I hate to admit it...
but I actually thought Brodie might be a servicable starter, but you just can’t trust this guy to stay healthy.
He would make a great backup for Brett Favre or Peyton Manning. I think he could stay healthy for 12-14 games if he was just holding a clipboard.
I am on a quest to find the answer to one of life's great mysteries-
Is guppy alive?
