Gilberry Lands on Chiefs Injury Report
The Kansas City Chiefs started out the week in healthy fashion once again with just one player limited in practice.
DE Wallace Gilberry is suffering from a sore back. At 270+ pounds, I'm surprised more Chiefs linemen aren't missing time with sore backs.
The Chiefs also listed three other players as full participants in practice:
G Andy Alleman: Suffering from a knee injury, he hasn't seen game action since Oakland three weeks ago. He's been participating in practice but Wade Smith has been getting the first team reps.
LB Justin Rogers: Thigh injury.
RB Dantrell Savage: The big question mark. Savage hasn't seen a carry in three weeks because of an ankle injury. Last week he participated in practice but was downgraded on a Friday. He had a boot on his ankle today.

That's it for the official practice report today. I must say that the Chiefs are very healthy considering we're 13 weeks into the season. Maybe that offseason conditioning paid off?

I'm still a little annoyed
with Gilberry for celebrating after missing a tackle in the 4th quarter of the game this weekend.
The one that gets me
is Demario Williams. Seems like he does the most celebrating after a tackle and most of them are five yards down field. Some one should tell him that a gain of five yards isn’t something to celebrate about.

Tamba Hali did not win def.POW.What???? It’s a damn shame.I know the chiefs aren’t winning much, but what a great game he had.He got skewered.

Oh, didn't even pick up on that
Yeah, agreed, he should have won if it was based on individual performance. Not sure if they take into account whether the team wins or not.
the chiefs r very healthy?
how many do we have on the IR?

Happy to see Smith with the 1st team
I’ve wanted to see Smith get his shot. He is a very good back up for multiple positions, so am glad to see him get the opportunity to be a starter and gain some continuity at a position. I’m really hoping he becomes a solid performer.
Gilberry has been pretty good on passing downs
Don’t think this injury won’t effect the game. This is really probably a bigger injury than most would think.
