What happened to Mark Bradley?

He was doing good last year, this year not so much. You would think with Haley being a WR coach he would be better.

Yes he was.

And very close to as dominant as Suh is today.

by jboot1 on Dec 6, 2009 11:45 AM CST up reply actions

I watched the Alabama game...

And I couldn’t have been any less impressed by Cody. He was taking up blockers, but I dont remember him getting any penetration. Then out of the blue on one play he just took the center and threw him out of the way. So it doesn’t seem to me that he puts as much effort every play as he should.

Dorsey was disruptive in college, but he didn’t do everything like Suh, hell Suh at one point led Nebraska in INT’s.

I’m just saying it wasn’t a perfect throw that’s all.

by PistolP on Dec 6, 2009 12:13 PM CST up reply actions

didn't say perfect

it was a great throw because he hit his receiver in stride. In the hands.

I was hoping you were saying " no it wasn’t" as a joke and you were playing one of the “Cassel Sucks” bandwagon fans… Apparently not…

by thalove on Dec 6, 2009 12:15 PM CST up reply actions

Relax

Neither the throw or the catch was good enough obviously, I’m just saying that I’d like to see more air under the ball on a deep route next time.

by PistolP on Dec 6, 2009 12:18 PM CST up reply actions

I'm chill

Yes, throw could have had more air, but QB’s job is to get the ball to the WR and give them the ability to make the play. Wade didn’t make it.

by thalove on Dec 6, 2009 12:20 PM CST up reply actions

Wade

Stretched one arm out, and he barely got finger tips on the ball. There was no way he was going to make that catch. I used to be a wide out, trust me, those passes are hard as hell to catch if there isn’t enough air under the ball. When it’s thrown on a rope, the receiver has no time to make an adjustment. When there’s air under it, you can go and get it. Maybe a taller guy makes that catch, but not a short slot guy like Wade.

by PistolP on Dec 6, 2009 12:22 PM CST up reply actions

agree to disagree

I played WR too, so we are talking the same language. I’ll give that it was a tough catch. However he’s getting paid to make the catch, and the ball hit him in the palm of the hand. Not sure why he didn’t extend both hands, if he got his whole hand on it, with two he makes it.

Haley thought so too…

He could have lofted it and Wade still would have scored.

That said, Wade could have caught it too.

at least he'll catch it

UCrawford will eventually calm down and realize that Haley isn't a bad coach.
Will embrace the Fire Haley Bandwagon if we lose to the raiders by more then a TD...
..But we aren't going to lose.
LJ will not land in Pittsburgh
The Chiefs will not be the number one pick in this years draft
The Chiefs first pick of the draft will NOT be a OL
Thinks UCrawford just needs a hug... offer is there when you are ready UC :p

Its a hard line in the center where it looks like they rolled some ugly turf down the center of the field. Its clearly visible

What the hell is up with all the missed passes!?

It should be a tied game to say the least!
Well at least we’ve figured out a good offense (minus the 1st and goal at the goal line play) that seems to work on the Donks, now if our receivers would only do their JOBS!

Go Chiefs!

Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!

I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.

Not much of a pass rush

But the Denver offensive line is very good….their starting RT went down with injury so there’s hope.

by Joel Thorman on Dec 6, 2009 12:55 PM CST up reply actions

Oh NO!!!

Cassel is wearing the JaMarcus hat

Predictions for 2009:

The Chiefs will regret cutting LJ

Bowe's numbers regress due to lack of decent QB play.

The D gets better in the second half but still is plagued by big plays

Cassel looks more like the guy Pioli almost cut in the '08 preseason instead of the franchise QB he hoped he would be when he traded him for

Chiefs 3-13

the most

embarrassing performance ive seen in my 30 yrs as achiefs fan. 60 mil and benched 2 weeks in a row. getting blocked. trying trick plays as if you are playing the best team in the leauge. dropped passes. interceptions. fumbles. defense giving up drives 4-5 yards at a time all the way down the field for scores. 80+ pts given up in the last 2 weeks after beating the superbowl champs. 44 in your own house. I always get a sense early on the intensity and attitude and i felt from minute one there was none. i will always love my chiefs no matter what but i am ashamed right now, and all i can think to do is paray and say…..god help us.

Just like novocaine. give it time; always works..
