Around SBN: Tiger Woods, Tony Romo Grouped Together At Pebble Beach

With Jamaal Charles standing alone as the Chiefs only true healthy running back, if Savage is forced to sit this week, Williams will have to take some of the carries. Kansas City will no doubt draft or sign a running back in the offseason, but Williams could make it less of a need by showing the Todd Haley and Scott Pioli over these final games that he’s ready to play at this level.

Would be nice---

if another of the draft picks prodced something—-doesn’t seem like theres been much production yet——just Jackson and Succop so far,and some from the second rounder—shoot, cant even recall his name right now. Kind of hard to tell on Jackson from the stats. Production from Javarris would be great.

"some from the 2nd rounder"

actually, a LOT from the 2nd rounder… Vrabel and Cassel!!!

* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season
* Stats are for losers

Alex Magee----

that’s who I was trying to say and I guess he was third round.

I'm excited to see him go...

Hopefully, he shows enough to save the Chiefs a draft pick on a RB next season…
(unless they take Toby Gerhart, which I’d be all for!)
