There’s a certain owner who loves to hire offensive-minded head coaches. He’s also desperate to make a splash, and looks set to fire his current coach at the end of the season.

Weis’ ego, based on the stories out of Notre Dame, seems to be big enough that he might be the biggest name crazy/stupid enough to take on the challenge of coaching for said owner.

Call me insane, crazy, stupid, whatever you want, but I think there’s a better-than-even chance that Charlie Weis ends up as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders next year. If he has any desire to be a head coach again, that’s probably his only shot.
