Couple of columns on 2010 draft talent

Wes Bunting discusses underclassmen. He mentions AP fave OG Iupati, but notes the Fla Sate Pouncey boys could harsh his mellow on draft day. NFLDraftScout.com Analyst Rob Rang finds some "diamonds-in-the-rough" in his latest column. Many of these "diamonds" are pretty well known, but he does have a few that are intriguing. A guy I read about earlier this year, but haven't seen any film on, Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Indiana (Penn.), 6-1, 205, 4.48 (CB) - though he might convert to Safety- is a real "in the rough guy" who is a dynamite K/P returner as well.

10/11/2009 - Akwasi Owusu-Ansah can't do it all himself, although he sure gave it his best try on Saturday. With yet another NFL scout watching from the press box, Owusu-Ansah showed off his skills by returning a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns during the fourth quarter of IUP's 38-24 loss to Edinboro at Miller Stadium. The scores give Owusu-Ansah, a senior from Columbus, Ohio, eight career touchdowns - three on kickoffs, three on punts, one on an interception and one on a fumble return. (NFLDraftScout.com)

Happy reading!
