Why Santa Wears Red

Do you think that Santa wearing red as his color is just a coincidence or is Saint Nick a Chiefs fan deep down? Christmas is about giving... and you will never find a more giving person than a Chiefs fan or player. When we forget this we pay the price.  My first point is did anyone stop to think that our glory days suddenly ended when we played on Christmas Day into double overtime, boy was Santa mad.....if we had played on any other day we would have won and beaten those Dolphins.  Santa didn't forgive us for years after that.  Things changed and we had an angel speak out for us.  Joe Delaney made the ultimate sacrifice and showed the true heart of a champion.  The players saw the light and more players gave unselfishly of themselves and their time.  The city and the team were reborn.

We lived through a time that was special... for the city and the team.  I know that times have been tough lately and Santa has been losing weight.  But I see a new beginning....the team is young and hungry.  Once again you see the players giving of their hearts and mind.  I love the fact no team gives back to it's fans more than this team. And I still believe in Santa. Now that we have gotten rid of Scrooge (no.27)....we will see a new beginning and maybe Santa will wear his Chiefs red again.
