J from Spokane wants to know if Kansas City kicker Ryan Succop has a chance to win offensive rookie of the honors:
Bill Williamson: Succop, the final pick in the in the NFL draft this year, is having an outstanding rookie year. But he really doesn’t have a chance to win the award. Kickers just aren’t going to win an award like that unless it is an unusual situation. Still, Succop looks like has a nice future ahead of him.

I wonder if he led the league in scoring...
If he’d have a chance… or would the anti kicker sentiments kick in….
Never noticed...
…that they don’t have a Rookie of the Year award for Special Teams until just now. Interesting since that’s where many rookies end up; and yet, maybe that’s the reason.
My long, drawn-out predictions that no one cares about, nor will bother to remember:
1. Todd Haley will still be the Chiefs Head Coach up to the 2011 season.
2. Clancy Pendergast won't make it to the 2010 season and was never intended to. Last-minute hire for a position that needed to be filled.
3. Todd Haley will not be the OC at the start of the 2010 season.
Percy Harvin, Lesean McCoy, Knowshon Moreno...
Ryan Succop…doesn’t quite carry the same clout—YET
