No One Picking the Chiefs to Beat the Bengals
The Chiefs are double digit underdogs against the Bengals this weekend so not many analysts from NFL Network or ESPN or picking them to win.
First up, Brian Baldinger, Joe Theismann and Sterling Sharpe of NFL Network pick the Bengals.
What happened to Joe Theismann the Chiefs fanboy? He used to be a Chiefs homer before the season started - then he saw the Chiefs play. Ouch.
As for ESPN, everyone picks the boys in stripes.
ESPN's AccuScore, some computer run simulation, says the Chiefs will lose 28 to 16 on average.
Vegas says it's a 13 point game and the over/under is 40 points.

ok well
Id probably rather beat the broncos than the bengals if I had to choose…however this is really more about not letting LJ do a thing, while Charles breaks a few and goes over 100 yards and scores another TD(something we all know LJ didnt do this year for us)
I will say though, that I think we have a shot, especially since they are missing a key cog in that D, peko I think?
ok
Don’t act so surprised!

The season is pretty much over for me
We squandered away our last winnable game. I’ll still watch but I don’t expect anything spectacular. My only wish is that we shut down LJ as I’m sure many of you would like to see that as well :)
Never Know!
Hopefully win and shut LJ down. We might be underdogs, might not win, we will see. That’s why they play!

I have
been watching football my entire life. And I still dont understand bet lines
The way I understand it..the 13 point spread means the Chiefs will get beat by 13 points..is that right?
The over/under is where I get confused.
Somebody! Please! I’ve got to get this figured out!
Really???
You’ve been watching football your whole life and you dont know what over under means? Jesus Petey I’ve been drinking all day and I still know the basics….you must be fucking drunk…kudos to you sir!

I'm dead freaking serious
and I wish I was drunk..unfortunately I’m sick and getting drunk while being sick does not go well with me..though I know some people who say it makes them feel better. Man I wish it worked that way for me.
I have absolutely no idea what over/under means. If anybody cares to share, It’d be like a nice, belated, AP Christmas present =D
over under
lets say the number is 30
over under
if you bet under youre betting the total score is under 30
if you ber over youre betting the total score (TOTAL SCORE BETWEEN BOTH TEAMS IS OVER 30 ’
LOOK MAN IM DRUNK
but seriously if you cant figure out what over under means i fuckiing pray for you….god bless your poor little soul

Job well done
That makes it pretty clear to me.
Over/under represents the amount of points scored in the game by both teams
40 sounds about right for Cincy. Between both teams we should put up 43 or so. :-)
