A challenge for the draft junkies of AP
I'm proposing a mock draft challenge...
go to the link, create a user ID and make your own mock draft.
Make sure you do all 3 rounds.
Email me the link for your draft stagdsp@hotmail.com
and I'll create a FanPost where we can list the AP mocks and vote on the best.
We can do a 2nd round of mocks in the offseason, as the draft gets closer, to see what has changed.
It will take you a few minutes, but you could start with "walter's picks" if you need the template.
It'll be a good exercise to give you a feel for how the picks could fall.

I'm a Chiefs junkie
I don’t know how to predict needs of other, less fortunate fan bases :)
We Will kick at least 4 Teams Asses in 09. Almost there :)
And Succop will be the Key in two of them. Skins & Raiders! Pittsburgh Sweet!

True story
I’m down though, I’ll be filling out countless mocks in a few months anyway so I may as well start now!
Bask in the glory that is Kwame Harris. Poor Alex...
Maybe a group mock?

I'm hoping to get more people to participate in this one mock
instead of posting multiples of their own mocks :)
Plus, just saying who you want KC to pick without giving any thought to who other teams might grab… well, that’s missing an important part of the picture.
But, I understand if you don’t want to participate :)

Or maybe Tomahawk can call in the whole SBNation
I think 44 might be 5’5 and always the guy picking fights and waiting for the big fatties to save his Butt :)

That's actually a great idea
Once the draft order is in place, go around SB Nation and put each site “on the clock” for a day to see who they pick. Then whoever, say St Louis picks is taken off the board. Then go to the next site. It would take a month to get through the first round, though, so you’d have to start it as early as possible.
"The way this works is you string together some good games, some good practices and you get momentum and you gain confidence," linebacker Mike Vrabel said. "It can be a real positive for your team. It builds on itself."
you CAN copy off of the guy on the site...
you can start with his picks, if you want

What do you think about
Going around each sbnation site and setting up a poll in order, starting with who is projected to pick #1 and all the way down through nfl’s power rankings, to see who is the most popular available person at each position? It would take some planning to pull off, but I could help out (going to other sbnation blogs and setting up the fanposts in this order) and it would be interesting to see the fans from each team’s perspective on what their greatest need right now is. We could do a week-long tour in this order, starting with the 32nd in the power rankings and moving to each next site, showing them who’s already off the board and asking them what their choice would be. Give each site several hours to vote, and the highest vote is their pick.
Meh.
I’m more into reading mocks than making them. Have fun though. I’ll definitely be down for discussing the results though.
My sentiments are likely to be summed up with one of these 2 quotes:
"Shut the f--- up."
-Matt Cassel
"WHAT THE F---?!?!"
-Todd Haley

It's still too early for this
The top 5 or so are pretty easy, but then there are a ton of teams with nearly identical records. Until that’s all sorted out, it’s kind of a time waster.

one could argue this whole thing is a time waster
“blogging” about things we can’t control :)
but, it’s still fun for some
