seems so familiar yet so far away :)
If Mangini stays, we’re entering the draft with a president and a coach who run entirely different schemes. If Mangini goes, we’re entering the draft needing more players than if he stayed (our offensive players not being particularly well suited to the west coast and our defensive players not being particularly well suited to the 4-3). Either way, we’re a team in flux. At a time when we should be a good long way into draft preparation like every other team in the league that isn’t in flux, instead we have no idea who the coach is, what schemes will be run next year, and who the GM and Personnel Director are.

We Will kick at least 4 Teams Asses in 09. Almost there :)
And Succop will be the Key in two of them. Skins & Raiders! Pittsburgh Sweet!

Having lived in Seattle throughout the Holmgren regime
and even working for the organization during Training Camps in Cheney, WA, I am happy to see Holmgren returning to football. The guy was incredibly nice and clearly loves the game. However, he stunk as a GM and wasn’t a very good evaluator. If I’m a Browns fan, I’m not too excited about this move.
I said the same thing a couple of days ago and was killed for it...
Under his watch as GM he really only had one home run draft pick and one really good draft pick… Steve Hutchins and Shaun Alexander.

Well he did prove to be the biggest Walrus in Cleveland this Winter.
Cleveland has to be better for some direction, any, something.
Maybe Cribs or their NT or an ILB is expendable:)

I agree they have problems...
But hiring an overrated personnel guy isn’t going to solve their problems.
I think this definitely means Mangini is one and done in Cleveland.

Cleveland's ownership seems to be a mess
Last year hiring a coach before hiring a GM…and before that didn’t they interview Pioli & then botch it by making it public? I think we are in good shape with Clark.
Predictions:
Kansas City will not win more than four games in 2009
Kansas City will have a new OC and DC in 2010
Kansas City will win at least seven games in 2010
