KC Offense good on paper
I'm sure most folks will disagree, but on the surface, I like the way our team has been built offensively. If we keep Chambers, I like him and Bowe. I like Long and Wade as the 4 and 5. I'm not completely sold on Bradley though. He's been good, and really bad with some of his drops. We might be able to pick up a free agent WR, as well as re-sign Chambers.
In Charles, we finally have a game changing player. I'm not so sure about his durability. If he adds size, he may take away some of his speed. In Cottam, I love the 6'7 target. And, I like the way Haley has been using him and Pope. Our line is coming around. Cassel has had some time to throw. And, he's making some plays too. Some of his passes are short, long, and behind the receivers. I think with a full year under his belt, with the same players, he'll be better.
In closing, with a good draft, some free agents, and possibly a coordinator, I think we'll be ok, or at least average at best.

We need a legit slot receiver in a big way
Bowe, Chambers, and a really good slot guy would be a nice receiving corps. Cottam seems to be coming on and Charles might have the best pass catching skills on the team.
If Cassel can be more consistent/accurate and we can improve the O-line some this offseason, it could be a pretty effective offense. Even against good defenses.
shipley from Texas ?
with one of our 2nds, we do need a PR/KR and he could be that slot guy….if hes even available
Great players dont win championships.....Great TEAMS win championships
yeah, it's hard to tell where he goes
but, he’d be solid, i think
the eternal optimist in me is holding out hope that Lance Long figures out how to be that guy… but yes, I realize that he hasn’t shown much since his first game
I’m guessing there were times early in Welker’s career where people said he didn’t have what it takes :)
* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season
* Stats are for losers
I liked Austin Collie out of this years draft
Indy got him.
I like Shpley though…Golden Tate would be preferred.
he would be a GREAT pick for KC in the 2nd
not sure that he’s a slot guy as much as he is a true outside WR…
but, I’d take him either way

His height is the only thing limiting his chance as a #1 WR
I like him in the slot with Bowe and Chambers split ,with Tate having the potential to be #1 eventually. Actually, I don’t care where he is at as long as we draft him.
I think slot WR is more of a need than a true #1 even though I think Bowe and Chambers are better off as a #2. Look how valuable Wes Welker has been to Tom Brady in NE in a similar offense.
yeah, we're good on paper ... problem is ...
they play on grass

is miles austin a free agent? i thought i heard he was and he seems to play well at arrowhead...
The only players I hurt with my words are the ones who have an inflated opinion of their ability. I can't worry about that.
Bill Parcells
Knowledge is confidence. And confidence lets you play fast.

I think anyone on the opposite team plays well at Arrowhead... just saying haha
but yes I wouldnt mind having Miles in KC
Oh my god NO please on Wade
I understand that this is your opinion, but damn man! Wade is Gofful. That guy drops more than he catches, no way he is back next year!
