Chiefs MVP Each Game: Weeks 6-11

Every game is important for us Chiefs fans.  A lot of games were down right ugly this year though but not all of our players have been ugly.  I'll take you through our journey thus far and give you in my opinion our most valuable player each game along with some key players. Hopefully, this brings back some good memories. In case you missed weeks 1-5...

Here are weeks 6-11...


Kansas City Chiefs at Washington Redskins -October 18th, 2009


Ryan Succop -4 out of 4 Field Goals made: Long 46 Yards




Key Players:

Tamba Hali: 2 solo tackles, 1 sack with a safety

Mike Vrabel: 4 solo tackles, 1 sack with a forced fumble


Kansas City Chiefs VS San Diego Chargers -October 25th, 2009


Corey Mays -7 tackles and Nice Goal Line Stand




Key Players:

Bobby Wade: 4 receptions for  66 yards

Dustin Colquitt: 3 punts inside the 20: Long 53 Yards


Kansas City Chiefs at Jacksonville Jaguars -November 8th, 2009


Chris Chambers -3 receptions for 70 Yards and 2 Touchdowns




Key Players:

Tyson Jackson: 6 tackles

Derrick Johnson: 2 tackles with forced fumble

Dustin Colquitt: 4 punts inside the 20: Long 70

Dwayne Bowe: 4 receptions for 74 yards


Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders -November 15th, 2009


Jamaal Charles -18 rushes for 103 yards and a touchdown: Long 44 Yards




Key Players:

Dwayne Bowe: 6 receptions for 91 yards

Mike Brown: 1 tackle with 2 interceptions


Kansas City Chiefs VS Pittsburgh Steelers -November 22nd, 2009


Andy Studebaker -4 tackles and 2 interceptions




Key Players:

Ryan Succop: 2 FG's one of which was the game winning one. Long: 27

Jamaal Charles: 97 yard kickoff return for touchdown: 58 yards rushing, 1 reception TD

Chris Chambers: 4 receptions for 119 yards. Set up game winning FG.

Brandon Flowers: 5 solo tackles with 1 forced fumble

Leonard Pope: 2 receptions for 26 yards and touchdown

Matt Cassel15 out of 30 passes for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns
