Friday Night Open Thread
Evening, Kansas City Chiefs fans.
Here is an open thread for the evening. I'm headed to Mrs. Arrowhead Pride's office Christmas party, which I'm genuinely excited for. Should be a blast.
Use this thread to chat Chiefs, or whatever else is on your mind.

I'm headed out later tonight as well
Which is unusual for me these days. Should be fun.
Of course, that means since Chris and I are both unavailable there will be huge breaking news with the Chiefs.
Ravens game moved to 4:15. It snowing here in charlotte. Va is getting pounded.

Went to the panther game last year(only nfl game ive been to so far) and I can honestly say that that was the last time I saw someone other then me wear anything chiefs related. Not as suprising now days concidering our record. Have you been to any games here?

I've been here for 10 years
and I’ve probably averaged a game a year. Problem is I’d rather watch Chiefs online or listen to it on the fox than see a panthers game live. I’m originally from upstate NY and saw a Chiefs-Buffalo game while up there. Completely different environment. I was 14 at the time and my parents wouldn’t let me wear my Chiefs stuff because (in the 90’s) the Chiefs weren’t much liked in Buffalo due to them both being very good teams. My favorite game I’ve ever been to, even though we lost. It’s the environment I’d expect Arrowhead to be like. One of these years I’ll make the trip out and watch a game there.

Yeah, its kinda like my mecca too. One day, before I die, ill be in kc to see a game. Me and the fam were thinkin about going to the panthers-saints game in a couple weeks. Could be interesting. Thinkin ill go in my kc jersey. It seems like the fans here are just happy to even have a team. Havent really caught any hell from any panther fans here. At least not like other teams’ fans

Has anyone seen the 2010 chiefs opponents? Aside from a game @ the colts, it doesnt look very threatining.

chillin in NJ
waiting for the snow to fall…just got done watching “frosty” with the kids…just checked out walter mock draft…they have the chiefs taking an OL
NO
although o-line needs upgraded its not as pressing as defensive help, we just drafted albert 2 years ago. We talk about sophmore slump for everybody else why not albert, for him its just a busted pick. Give the guy some time. he has no help other than waters who cant chip on his side cause of the weakness of the center and RG. I would go either berry or try to trade back and take a rush LB. With locker staying in school and if Bradford has a good pro day/combine then maybe some team would want to trade up to get him
Good point...
on Albert. On the O-line, you’re generally only as good as the guys next to you.
Especially when its an o-line and pass blocking. It takes 5 players not only on the same page but 5 good to above average players along the line to generate a good pocket. Albert has the skill as well as waters, niswanger and the revolving door at RG doesnt and o’callaghan is yet to be proven but we have nothing better. Get a C and a RG in rounds 3-5 and they will most likely be starters or work their way in through the season and use the first pick for an instant upgrade on defense.
Thanks.
Pretty even matchup. I wish I could say the homefield advantage was a factor but, it hasn’t been lately

A Chiefs video game
I don’t play video games but I would like to see one where you could use all the same Chiefs players except you get to change QBs to what ever famous QBs you choose and them compare the results to Cassell. It would have to be very accurate which is dreaming of course but I wish it could be a reality. Lets say Johnny Unitas is in there——I’m thinking supposedly bad receivers all at once miracuously start holding on to passes. Or the softly arching pass of Len Dawson drops softly into the hands of a streaking undrafted free agent receiver. Fran Tarkenton, Ben Rothlesberger or even Bob Greise shaking free and finding someone—-Anyone!
When was this picture taken?
Is this tonight at the stadium?
I’m going to be at the game, coming from Springfield, and I didn’t think it snowed in KC today

I know that's a dumb question
They are nearly always at noon.
The tickets always say TBD but i know its noon.
Weather channel forecast had it at 3:15 so I was a little worried.
Thanks tho!

I was playing in a dodgeball tournament at my old grade school.
And it was a blast, brought me back to the younger years and I felt like a kid again. Got a ball thrown straight at my nuts, but other than that it was a good showing. We won the tournament, got 10$ on top of our entry fee and got a free beer for winning the thing. Great way to spend a Friday night.
Cry Havoc! And let slip the Chiefs Defense of War!!!
lol we should start an Arrowhead Pride Dodgeball Team...

Its a Catholic grade school
And the tournament was sponsored by the school’s athletic club. Its a small working class parish, we take any and every reason to drink to heart! (You should see us during fish fry’s at lent)
