Chiefs CB Brandon Carr Misses Practice
The Kansas City Chiefs continued their preparation for the Cleveland Browns today without the services of CB Brandon Carr. Per Bob Gretz of BobGretz.com, Carr was not at the early portion of practice that was attended by the media.
We're not sure what the reasons are for missing. Personal reasons or illness are possibilities.
All other players were accounted for at today's practice session. Injury wise, it doesn't appear much has changed.
DE Glenn Dorsey has been listed as limited in practice with a knee injury suffered in last Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
G Brian Waters has also been listed as limited with a hamstring injury. He hasn't been participating in all drills, but many expect him to be available on Sunday. He's a veteran so I suspect keeping him out of practice may be more precautionary than anything.
Also on the practice reports this week has been DE Wallace Gilberry, who was a full participant yesterday. S Jon McGraw also appeared on the reports this week with a hand injury that has limited him.
We'll update Carr's status when we learn more.

What about Bowe?
I have been trying to read up on Bowe’s status for this Sunday.
Anybody know if he’s playing? I’m gonna be there this weeked and I think we NEED Bowe to get a win
"I’d go to battle with him every day of the week." Todd Haley on Matt Cassel
This statement is why I am on the Cassel train, drinkin the Kool-Aid!
He practiced with the first team again today
I imagine he’ll play but the Chiefs won’t say anything beforehand.

Of course he'll play
If Haley is trying to fool the browns by playing the quiet game, he’s being an idiot.
even being out 4 weeks, Bowe is still our best receiver.
My sentiments are likely to be summed up with one of these 2 quotes:
"Shut the f--- up."
-Matt Cassel
"WHAT THE F---?!?!"

I agree
I just don’t understand the whole situation. We have 54 players on the active roster.
I thought they had to declare today who was starting and such

Maybe the league forgot about us?

not a big deal
they have a roster exemption that gives them time to activate Bowe
so, before Sunday, they’ll release someone, activate bowe, then sign that guy back to the PS the next day
* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season
* Stats are for losers
Thanks for the update Joel!
Planning on wearing my AP Wolfpack shirt this weekend but noone will know because it will be covered with multiple layers!
