Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Colts vs Jaguars

Another Thursday Night and another game on NFL Network.  This week it is the undefeated Colts (13-0) at Jaguars (7-6).  This game isn't really important to the Colts since they clinced homefield advantage in the playoffs.  On the other hand this game is very important to the Jags since they are in the thick of the playoff race.  What will the Colts do?  Play their starters or take it easy until the playoffs? Saturday there is another game on NFL Network and another undefeated team. The Saints and the Cowgirls will face off in an important game for both of those teams since the Vikings won't go away.  Have fun and enjoy a televised game. Go Chiefs! Jags!

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

but, the blackout this weekend truly makes me sick to my stomach.

I am not even in the mood to watch this game right now.

i'm kinda numb to it i guess. it was expected, after all

i grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and almost all games were blacked out. it had gotten to the point where i was taking for granted that they would be on tv. i can’t really complain too much because i rarely buy tickets from the team. i love watching them but i have a tough time coughing up the kind of coin they ask for while they are this bad. having said that, i’m probably going to the game this weekend since tickets are available dirt cheap

Forgive my ignorance I'm new to this...

but on NFL.com there is an ad at the top of the page that says, “colts-jaguars – thursday night football – watch LIVE now” but when you click on it, it’s just a bunch of analysts sitting around talking about the game going on that you can’t see, and every once-in-a-while they’ll mention that one of the teams scored. Is this some kind of lame false advertising? I don’t get it…

My long, drawn-out predictions that no one cares about, nor will bother to remember:

1. Todd Haley will still be the Chiefs Head Coach up to the 2011 season.
2. Clancy Pendergast won't make it to the 2010 season and was never intended to. Last-minute hire for a position that needed to be filled.
3. Todd Haley will not be the OC at the start of the 2010 season.

I don't have Time Warner

But that’s not really a problem because I’m equipped with a Sprint Palm Pre. You can catch all of the NFL Network games on your mobile Sprint device.

Sprint, by the way, is the official telecommunications partner of Arrowhead Pride.

I need to check in quickly

My FFL Semi’s
I have 2 RB spots in a PPR league

MJD started tonight and is having a huge night.
Who do I start as RB2?

Reggie Bush vs Dallas
Beanie Wells vs Detroit
Chris Jennings vs Chiefs

As it stands now, I have Jennings Penciled in but I have a big erasor if ya’ll can convince me to play Beanie or Reggie.

I NEED this game…I haven’t won this league since 2002

I would go with Wells

DET run D is terrible, Chiefs-esque.

Bush is splitting reps with 2 other RBs and is not dependable.

and Chris Jennings…who the Fuck is that? Exactly.

Is my sanity on Sunday afternoon. How do I cheer for the Chiefs, but cheer against Jennings?
I love my Chiefs but I’ve been in this league for 8 years and haven’t won it in 7. This is MY Superbowl

Because, frankly, we are going to give up the yards one way or another.

Might as well be to someone who helps you, and still hope for a Chiefs win.

I have focused on the Chiefs and ignored my FF players while watching.

My stance has been root for the Chiefs during the game, accept that we will give up yards/points, deal with the FF fallout after the game good or bad.

No one should be stunned to hear that Tennessee’s Chris Johnson is the highest scoring fantasy running back over the past five weeks (and also over the past 14 weeks). But the guy who’s No. 2 on the list is a bit of a surprise: Kansas City’s Jamaal Charles(notes).
