Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey Practices Again
Kansas City Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey practiced once again four days after suffering a leg injury that caused him to miss part of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com reports Dorsey was "moving well" in drills today. This is certainly good news and, as Todd Haley said yesterday, he appears likely to play on Sunday.
The other big injury for the Chiefs is LG Brian Waters, who is recovering from a hamstring injury. He was in full dress this afternoon but only participated in select drills.
Here's how the Chiefs practice report broke down yesterday:
Limited Participation in Practice
- DE Glenn Dorsey (knee)
- DE Wallace Gilberry (back)
- S Jon McGraw (hand)
- G Brian Waters (hamstring)
CB Brandon Flowers participated fully in practice yesterday after missing time last Thursday and Friday with a shoulder injury. He played Sunday's game in full so it doesn't appear he has any lingering effects from the injury.
Gilberry also missed time last week because of a sore back so I imagine his limited participation is precautionary as well.

Not sure where to put this. Too short for a post…no link for a shot.
Just got word that the Chiefs have asked for an extension from the league, but that extension was denied. The team is discussing options as I type this. The blackout appears to be happening.
This is my signature line. It is full of awesome and win.

It's true Kray
The game will be blacked out in the Tampa Bay market. I’m sad to say.
"The way this works is you string together some good games, some good practices and you get momentum and you gain confidence," linebacker Mike Vrabel said. "It can be a real positive for your team. It builds on itself."
If you can get to Northern Ohio
or Wichita, you should be OK

No I have NFL Package so I'll see it. I just hate that this is happening in KC.
The less revenue they make the less we have for the uncapped salary season that’s on the way. Less people means less money to pay players. We already aren’t the most attractive place to come play. High quality teams want to be in NO or INDY not KC.
TG wanted out of here for just that reason. I hate to make it even harder by not selling enough tickets to make the income necessary to retain and acquire more players next year.
That's not Pioli's MO
The Rodney Harrison story, if you didn’t know it, goes like this. Harrison had a standing offer from the Oakland Raiders. In fact, he was on their premises when a call came from Pioli. Harrison told the Raiders he needed more time and flew across the country … to be wined and dined at a local Ground Round by Belichick and Pioli.
Like the restaurant they were eating at, Harrison was promised “no frills” by Belichick and Pioli, just the will to win.

He’s going to bring in a ton of new people, but probably not many “sexy” options.
It would be nice to see the last home game, though.

when we first drafted glenn dorsey
I went straight to my friend mike sterling who is the biggest lsu fan. And asked what can I expect from glenn dorsey. The first thing he said was the guy plays hurt. And that’s a huge factor. When u look at our team we need everyone we can to.b on the field.
