Trading WR Calvin Johnson would net Lions bevy of good talent
Interesting article. Question: Would it take a lot to get him? I think a decent player and a second rounder could suffice. I think you can buy low with terrible teams, but maybe I'm wrong...
Do we even want this guy? I think it would possibly be one of the youngest, scariest 1-2 punches at the WR position in the league if we landed Calvin Johnson to play with D-Bowe.

He's worth way more than Roy Williams
And look what Dallas gave up for him. It would take more than a decent player and a second rounder. There’s no way we give up that many draft picks. It’s nice to dream, though.
"The way this works is you string together some good games, some good practices and you get momentum and you gain confidence," linebacker Mike Vrabel said. "It can be a real positive for your team. It builds on itself."
Considering if the Chiefs are looking
at Dez Bryant when they hold their first pick, would it be worth trading that pick plus a few others for a great receiver such as Johnson? I think so, depending on what else we would have to give up other than the first. Dez Bryant or Calvin Johnson…
I'd take..
Andre Johnson before I’d take Calvin.
Hali, Johnson, Vrable, Mays, Williams, Studebaker, Belcher

are you kidding me???
Do we even want this guy?
this guy is INSANELY good…

Devil's advocate...
Trying to bait the people that aren’t really impressed by the possibility. :)
I'm not a Cassel fan or a Tamba Hali Fan or a Jamaal Charles fan. I'm a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dez
im more of a Dez Bryant type of guy maybe because something is telling me he will be there still with are 2round draft pick

I dont think....
we even think about taking a wide receiver with our first nor trade our first for one. We need way more help at other spots. Unless its a game changing player at any time on the field then go for them. But I think sir Charles can turn into a Chis Johnson someday if he gets bigger and stronger.
I wouldn't either chiefs316
for me it’d have to be a position player and a 2nd rounder….however, I do think we need help at the position…

DJ
I think DET is pretty set at LB but if DJ isn’t part of the “right 53” then how about, if DET needs LB’s, DJ + 2nd rounder for Calvin. Just wishful thinking :)
that'd be a good trade for KC

I'd give up my next 2 first round picks for this guy
And this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of wide receivers…he’s special.
+1
Look at his production considering all the crap that has been throwing him the ball and the fact that he’s pretty much the only offensive threat they have.

If Detroit traded Johnson...
Their fans would literally blow up the stadium, the offices, the practice facility, everything. There would be riots in the streets of Detroit that would make the Watts riots look like Sesame Street.
