Patrick Allen, Direckshun Accept Positions With Arrowhead Addict

Congratulations are in order today for longtime Arrowhead Pride commenter Patrick Allen, who has accepted a position as the head blogger over at Arrowhead Addict.

Adam and Zach, founders of AA, contacted me a couple of weeks ago in search of a new lead blogger.

They asked me about Patrick Allen and I told them the truth - he's a hell of a blogger and would be a great addition to the AA team.

The immediate goal is to bring more content to you, our readers, by increasing the activity on the front page. Quality will always be our #1 priority. We want you to be up to date on all the happenings inside Chiefs Nation with news updates and commentary throughout your day.

Joining Patrick is another member of Arrowhead Pride and the Chiefs blogosphere - Direckshun. You long time readers will remember him.

So, a couple members of the AP blogging tree have been rewarded for all of their outstanding work.

Congratulations Patrick and Direckshun!

Much like people track coaches who were with Belichick, are we seeing the beginning of the Thorman tree o’ bloggers? (Actually, I’m sure there have already been others.) Congrats, all.

Bloggers who love to blog, and will take what their lead bloggers give them and apply it to their work?

Was waiting for the response:

“Shuffle, he contributes more in his 3 posts per year than you’ve done in your entire time here” which promptly I would have given a +1. From what little I’ve read from the guy it’s been good stuff, I was just taking the cheap pot shots that nobody here is shameless enough to make

Congrats to you both

AP gave you the format for a successful blog site and you contributions here will be missed. Hopefully you’ll drop in on us and I’m sure you and AP will be trading info which will benefit both sites. I may be a bit rough starting out because you know how people resist change, but stick to it and things will come around. I’ll drop in from time to time but as you know I don’t really add much to any site but I’ll be glad to lend my support.

is it me? or isn't about time the Lamar Hunt trophy belonged to His team?

This Chiefs team is closer to a new expansion team than it is a playoff contender, your expectations should match that.

All credit goes to AP and the Thorman bros.

Now that I’ve branched off the Thorman tree, I intend to head over to AA, trade our franchise quarterback, completely transform our defense, and disgruntle our star wide receiver. I’ve heard that’s how it’s done.

AA used to be my main site before joining AP a couple of years ago

The content on a daily basis there doesn’t compare. Now that Patrick Allen and Direckshun are headed there I know that site is back on the rise. Always a great site, just much less content than AP. Congrats and goodluck guys!

sniff sniff

*wipes tear from eye

Our loss is their gain! Good luck guys.

Chiefs go 9-7. LJ makes 1400 yards. DBowe makes 1200 yards. Defense #18.
10/28--The Koolaid buzz is beginning to wear off. Maybe drop this back to my original thoughts on the year. Chiefs go 6-10 (and that my be optimistic!). LJ gets a restraining order to stay 1400 yards away from the Chiefs. I'll let the rest stand for now. 11/18 Oh My! Dbowe gets a restraining order to stay 1200 yards away from the Chiefs. Argh! Can we go 5-11? Can the defense make #20?
