Best Moments of 09 (so far)

Tambas Safety to Seal Our First Win

via media.kansas.com

In a game that was virtually a snore fest of Succop field goals Hali had the final say and sealed up the Chiefs first win of the  09 season with a safety. Chiefs won 14-6.

Jamaal Charles Big Run Against The Raiders

via cache.boston.com

The Chiefs had not scored a rushing TD all season and had not seen any real big  "homerun" plays from Charles after he had became the starting back. Charles made both happen in one play with a 44 yard scamper to give the Chiefs a TD. Jamaal ended up leading the Chiefs to the second win of the season with 103 rushing yards and that TD. I look at this play as a new beginning for the Chiefs at RB for years to come.

Chambers Big Catch In OT

Chambers biggest catch as a Chief came in overtime against the Steelers when he took a pass from Cassel and gained a ton of yards to put Succop in a situation to kick a chip shot field goal to beat the almighty defending Super Bowl Champion Steelers.

These are three of my favorite memories from this season so far. Whats yours?

Chiefs will beat Browns 77-2

That’s going to be my best memory.

Jamaal Runs for 339 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Cassel goes 2 for 11 for 29 yards and a pick, 3 sacks and a safety (on a 4th and 1 from the goal line where he is tackled for a 100 yard loss)

Good times.

Cribbs will actually score on 1 reception for 1341 yards

but it will get negated for intentionally challenging the intergrity of the game by running to the 1 yard line and turning around sprinting all the way back to the other side of the field several times, thus burning about 1:45 with his speed!

That was my first game at Arrowhead and the first NFL play I saw live.

Charles kick return

This should easily win…Chris Chambers long run to seal the game deserves mention, too.

The feeling when Chambers just kept going...

It was unbelievable…literally. I could not believe it was happening without flags…

Id Take Studey's 90+ yard interception over any of them.

Was a great week, our best win and a great moment for a “replacement” player/

Best moment for 09

It has to be the Chiefs giving AP a pres pass.

Chiefs set an NFL record, most roster changes in 1 season.

Kicking Big Ben in the head and knocking him out of the game! Any takers?

hello?

j/k I have to roll with Chambers’ run after the catch in OT to win over the Steelers. They are the best team we have beaten and I’d have to say that’s the biggest bright spot of the season.

A good runner up....

McGraws blocked punt and recovery in the end zone…..I love a good defensive/ST play

by KCinAZ on Dec 17, 2009 8:55 AM CST reply actions

My favorite...

I can’t quite remember what game it was. Maybe the second game that Cassel got his start. The offense wasn’t getting much going and he took off and ran. He got the first down, got up fast and made the first down signal but he almost broke his own arm doing it since he had so much emotion brewing. To me that shown that Cassel was our leader. He really hasn’t shown emotion like that since and that is what bothers me.

Hali, Johnson, Vrable, Mays, Williams, Studebaker, Belcher
