I had fun. I played golf with stu stram and Len dawsons son during the day. Then met glenn Dorsey and Brandon Albert before the game. Then ran into Tyson Jackson around midnight at the Marriott downtown.

I used to live in Tulsa so it was only like 3.5 hours.

The father-in-law and I got paired up with two guys during golf and it ended up being Hank stram and Len dawsons sons. They had some great stories.

Dorsey and Albert at the Sheridan across the street from the stadium. That’s where I had reservations, but they told me to come back after the game because they didn’t have any two bed rooms left. I came back after the game but then they were totally full so they gave me a free voucher for the Marriot downtown. That’s when I met Jackson. He was alone except for some girl that was with him.

the Steelers game I stayed at the Sheridan in Overland Park. The wife and I were setting in the bar and a guy walked right by me and talked to someone at a table. I told my wife that it looked like Ryan Succop, but I didn’t want to look like a kid so I didn’t ask him. Then when he left the guy he was talking to came up to me and asked me where the best place to park at Arrowhead was and if he needed to buy a parking pass. He said he was from South Carolina and was here to see his friend Ryan Succop play. I asked him if that was Ryan that walked by and he said yes. He said he’d introduce us when the team got out of meetings, but the wife made me leave to go eat so I didnt actually get to talk to him. I did see Tyson Jackson and Derrick Johnson at the front desk though.

Chiefs have some contract with the Sheridan and always stay there. I met Phillip Rivers and Tolbert at the Westin the night before the Chargers game. Oh yeah and Michael Bennett to. I had a really lucky year this year for some reason.

I got on the elevator with Sproles and two other players that I didnt recognize. Dude was wearing a pimp hat and carrying food from Gates BBQ. He’s seriously like 4.5 feet tall. The morning of the game I rode down the elevator with Ron Rivera.
