There’s good news and bad news involving DE Glenn Dorsey.
The bad news is that Dorsey had to leave Sunday’s game with a left knee injury and didn’t return. He was wearing a full leg brace in the locker room following yesterday’s game when talking with reporters.
The good news is that the fifth overall pick in the 2008 draft didn’t re-aggravate the same leg that gave him problems at the end of his collegiate career. Dorsey also didn’t seem overly concerned about any long-term effects.

Would you trade
Dorsey and our #1 to TB (assuming they pick #1 overall) to trade up for Suh? That would be an interesting proposition. I’d say yes if we could somehow get TBs 2nd round pick out of the deal too.
Predictions:
Kansas City will not win more than four games in 2009
Kansas City will have a new OC and DC in 2010
Kansas City will win at least seven games in 2010
Trade talk...
More trade talk about Dorsey…Really?

Yes I would.
It’s not that I don’t think Dorsey is not good. It’s that Suh is better.
I just believe you covet the best player available. Because Dorsey has an upside he has bargining power.

Seriously?
You want them to take yet another “can’t miss” defensive line prospect for what seems like the 20th year in a row?
If you only knew...
eh, I do like Dorsey
and don’t necessarily want him to be traded, but if he could be swapped for Suh & an additional pick at the top of the 2nd round then I’d be all for it. I don’t think TB is dumb enough to do that though.

I'm just not a fan of rebuilding year after year
I wouldn’t mind at all to have Suh on this team. Problem is Dorsey is a very high first round pick and his going to be in his 3rd year when D linemen tend to really start hitting their prime. Rookie d linemen tend not to have a huge impact. Basically if we were to do the trade we would just be bringing in another player to develop and trading away one that we have been developing for 2 years. Which once again would set us back. The speed of the NFL is much different than college, and going against the best of the best every week is a lot different than going against 19-22 year old kids. I don’t want us to continue to be at the bottom of the NFL like the Raiders and the Lions

If you watched Suh he was faster than the kids in college.
He was active in all phases of the defense; run stop, pass rush, pass defense.

I'm not saying he isn't going to be an amazing player
Keyword is college…not the NFL…Name 5 rookie 3-4 d linemen that have put up better numbers than Dorsey has this year in their first 13 games…I bet you can’t (which I could be wrong). If you can’t than looking at the odds logically you could not say that Suh would be more a force his rookie year than Dorsey in his third.
