Brian Orakpo
By the way had four sacks today. He now has 11 sacks on the year and is in the running for Defensive Player of the Year. Wow, he would sure look nice coming off the edge with Hali on the other side. How is that Tyson Jackson guy working out? Oh yeah, and how about that Glenn Dorsey guy? He almost got a sack for a safety earlier this year so I guess that's a start.

Jackson
Tyson Jackson had his second best game of the season today with 5 tackles. His tackle numbers are similar to Richard Seymour’s first thirteen games. Seymour had two sacks at that point though.
Don’t get me wrong. I think it would have been nice to have Orakpo, too. But I’m encouraged that Jackson is quietly coming along.
Funnily enough
They converted him to a 4-3 OLB…he just blitzes often.

Comparing the two positions isn't fair.
3-4 DE’s take up blockers for LB’s to get the glory.
His position is a 4-3 OLB who blitzes very often. He’s free to do more, unblocked.
It’s apples-to-oranges, so judging TJ and Dorsey against him isn’t fair to them.

I'd say it's more like apples to carrots
they’re both nutritious, but not the same food family.
If you only knew...

I'm hungry. I want some BBQ.
Coffee. The NEW Performance Enhancing drug for Sport's Writers. Just ask Ken Rosenthal.
Orakpo has
Andre Carter and Albert Haynesworth to play along who command a lot of double teams from the opponents. He uses his opportunity very well IMO.
