Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers Is Active

PrintThe Kansas City Chiefs have announced the inactives for today's game against the Buffalo Bills. A semi-surprise here is that CB Brandon Flowers is active and will play today. He had missed practice on Thursday and Friday due to a shoulder injury.
Here are the full inactives for the Chiefs:
- WR Quinten Lawrence
- OL Ikechuku Ndukwe
- LB Justin Rogers
- RB Dantrell Savage
- TE Jake O'Connell
- TE Sean Ryan
- LB Pierre Walters
- QB Matt Gutierrez (3rd QB)
Couple of notes/thoughts on the inactives:
- How fall has Sean Ryan fallen? He was the Chiefs main tight end early in the season.
- Dantrell Savage is inactive again meaning Tim Castille should continue to see some time at running back
- Quinten Lawrence's deactivation means there's one less option to return kicks and punts. Wonder if Jamaal Charles will get to see some more time there?

Glad Flowers is active. Hope hes a good matchup against TO.

Nice to see Flowers active, hopefully he's 100% and was just being rested Thursday and Friday.

I don't want Charles returning kicks anymore
Cheese and rice, we have no #2 option at RB, why waste Charles on kickoffs? If he gets hurt returning kicks, I’m a gonna be pissed

Agree, I would hope for someone else to step up in that duty. He gets hurt on a KR and we are screwed.

I bet savage takes kicks for charles
so that he does get hurt…we need him on coverage units as it is
also
