Is very similar to Pete in a lot of ways.

This is just about the only way

Edwards would ever have much of a chance to be an NFL HC again – to take a college HC gig and do well there. I’d have to wonder, though, with all the anti-Herm sentiment in the Midwest, whether KU would really consider this. On the other hand… even many of the most ardent Herm bashers acknowledge he might be a pretty good college HC.

and sadly I am one. I do think that with his personality and 2 very good coordinators he could make a good HC in college.

Most of all...

I think Herm has the chance to be a lights out recruiter. I can’t think of many guys parents would trust their kids with more than Herm.

It does make sense

Herm is a good mentor for young players. While he may not be the best head coach, he’s a good person and may be just what a college program needs. You can motivate college kids with his tactics…NFL players who make millions no matter what just don’t care.

Penn State to Kansas City...Always a winning combination.
