"Absolutely," Chambers said when asked if he was willing to determine the Chiefs fastest receiver with an old fashioned footrace. "I think all of us would be open for something like that where you’re out there. That’s the game that we play - speed kills. Everything you do you should do it fast. You’ll be successful if you can do it fast with no thinking involved."

Interesting as it may be, I’d propose that the races wait until after the season. The last time there was a footrace in Kansas City RB Michael Bennett found himself inactive for the next few weeks with a hamstring pull.

Wasn't Bennett racing an O lineman?

I think it was Will Shields.

Everyone stop. Take a deep breath. Count backwards from 10.

Ok. Now remember that the back up QB is ALWAYS the most popular guy in town when a team is this bad. Matt will bounce back. He had one of the best TD to INT ratios for the first several weeks of the season. Chill out people.

LOL

I wouldnt think he would have to run as hard as he did to beat an OL

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

That's how I remember it

Bennett was racing Shields when he pulled the hammy. For a big man, Shields could flat out move.

Not Shields, but...

he was racing Brian Waters, so it was an O-lineman.
