Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers Misses Practice
The Kansas City Chiefs were once again inside for practice today because of dropping temperatures in Kansas City.
Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com reports that CB Brandon Flowers did not participate in practice today.
Per Looney, he was present for practice but was in sweats and tennis shoes off to the side of the field.
No word yet on what, if any, injury he has. Looney also points out that players that are suffering from illness generally stay away from the players.
Bob Gretz also reports that RB Jamaal Charles and RB Dantrell Savage participated in practice. Charles was dinged up in last Sunday's game but practiced again today. Savage has missed several games due to an ankle injury.
The roster continues to stand at 52 players. In the past, if the Chiefs haven't signed a player off the street at this point then it usually means someone is getting promoted from the practice squad.
That player is thought to be NT Derek Lokey since the Chiefs don't have anyone currently backing up NT Ron Edwards.

I'd put him on Lee Evans then Brandon Carr on TO with some Safety help.
Then again I’m not the coach.

I agree.
Even though Flowers has done a good job against taller receivers. I’m thinking that would be the better match up for this week.
+1 !
So you think you are so important that no one can replace you? Put your finger in a bucket of water and pull it out. Does it leave a hole? Nope, just some ripples that eventually calm themselves!

maybe his kids went to a “pump it up” party – it’s hit our house hard
"The way this works is you string together some good games, some good practices and you get momentum and you gain confidence," linebacker Mike Vrabel said. "It can be a real positive for your team. It builds on itself."
The Kansas City Chiefs were once again inside for practice today because its cold as fuck in Kansas City.

I hope they make the receivers go out and make some catches outside
If I recall the stats I think we had more drops last week than usual. I gotta think part of that was due to the cold. Our receivers ought to get prepared for it. Or Haley should make anyone who drops the ball take a 100 reps off the jugs machine in the cold.

You got it........
no need to practice inside if you gotta play outside in the cold anyway. And it does make a difference catching the football.

I think Haley wants to practice outside, but I don't think he wants to pull a Magini with the players...
It was quoted yesterday I believe? He felt it would help everyone to practice in those conditions.
maybe Flowers was treathing Whitlock to a plate of ribs at Gates
though I prefer the sandwiches at LC’s
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisiton!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
NOT FLOWERS!
That sucks.
Everyone stop. Take a deep breath. Count backwards from 10.
Ok. Now remember that the back up QB is ALWAYS the most popular guy in town when a team is this bad. Matt will bounce back. He had one of the best TD to INT ratios for the first several weeks of the season. Chill out people.

Ok here's the way it has to work out;
He’s only sick and he lies his way into the game (even though he shouldn’t really be playing) kind of like MJ versus the Jazz. Really sick but even sicker in the game. Flowers has an advantage if he’s only sick. Know what it is?
Flowers has access. ACCESS. Yes access. He has doctors on hand and at his disposal. Guys that will work on him until game day kickoff. Guys with needles and stuff that makes you feel better all of a sudden. The magic pill. Yah those guys. So lets pray he’s only sick. He’s in tremendous physical shape. That would be our best hope.
