I just don't get it...Charles averaged 6.0 a carry, and Kolby 4.0 a carry. Why not run the damn ball? Today the chiefs should of featured Charles. He should of had 25 touchs. I am definitely starting to question Haleys play calling. I have been all for him, but todays game confused me. With LJ coming back, we may never get to see if Charles can handle the load. Funny thing is, I think he can. He averaged over 7 yards a touch!

I was screaming this on the game thread

Jamaal was getting it done today. He was running tough and blocking well. Why in the hell would you stop feeding this guy the ball? Kolby and Dantrell looked OK, but when someone is averaging 7 yards plus per touch, you get them the damned ball. Let’s do some simple math here; you get 4 downs to advance the ball 10 yards, and Charles advanced the ball about 7 yards when he touched it today. So, if my beer math is correct, theoretically J Charles only needed 2 touches to advance the ball past the 1st down marker today. Don’t we have a hard time advancing the chains? Why in the hell would we not give the ball to our fastest and most effective runningback more often?? Seriously, I’m stunned at the piss poor use of our few dynamic players.

especially in the first half when we weren't gettin anything done throwing.

see how near the end of the 2nd quarter when we had no time we started handing it off? Just needed to do that the entire first quarter.

Jimmie Johnson from this morning.

They need consistency, and you know how you get consistency? Run the ball!

We need a OC

I don’t understand LJ averages 2.7 and gets 25 runs a game 4th most in NFL… Charles gets 6 yds average and doesn’t get the ball what up with that?

perhaps

haley did this knowing that today they’d release larry, pointing to his ypc, etc, and wanted to maintain two very good ypc for two of their running backs as justification???
