He's been so solid
Are we still tinkering with the roster? My God!
Braccae illae virides cum subucula rosea et tunica Caledonia-quam elenganter concinnatur!
Who knows,
What does that make our wr’s look like for today? Chambers, Bowe, Bradley, and who else?
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

Which will probably happen with our shoddy safety play

come on Morgan
Give us some of those hits we saw in preseason
Prediction: Tamba gets 10 sacks this year.
here comes win number 2
UCrawford will eventually calm down and realize that Haley isn't a bad coach.
24 - 20 Chiefs
ESPN is saying Chiefs will score 28 points today vs. Jacksonville.
"Every day is an evaluation and if you’re not out there how can we depend on you? If you’re out there and you don’t know what to do, how can we depend on you?" Accountability -- Haley-style...
Hope so
I’d love to see the Chiefs put up 28 points!
Savage or Long

can't be any worse then the guys we have had running it
UCrawford will eventually calm down and realize that Haley isn't a bad coach.
Thats what I was thinking...
and he can’t be any worse at returning kicks than he is at run blocking.

I don't know why,
but I have a very good feeling about today’s game.
I say: Chiefs 24 Jags 17
Regardless, I really think we win today.
Erykah Badu, I have accepted your proposal. So, Mrs. DTR, let's get to consummating...you are on notice.

I just can't predict with this team...
I hope the “tweaking” of the offense means we are well improved. And if we’d stop the damn safety blitz on defense…
Yeah I'm not a fan of the safety blitz.

I hate bye weeks
I feel like I haven’t watched a Chiefs game for a month.
*My opinions are subject to change.
17-13 Chefs
2 Charles/Savage td’s give us our first rushing td’s of the season and Das Boot hits a 40+ yarder.
Sackoff (McIntosh,Goff) like Brangelina.
Niswanger is healthy
He will probably be at center.
:-(
Cant wait for this game its definitely a good team to play coming off our bye
Does anyone have a link for the game? I haven’t been able to find one. my e-mail is swish7209@yahoo.com
Come Chiefs! lets pull this off!!

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!
he doesnt have to be good to fall forward
im just guessing that if we get on the one they dont want the fumble prone Charles toting the ball….who knows maybe it will be vrable
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
Chiefs 24-21
I got a feeling Haley is gonna surprise us today with some creative plays with Chambers and Long getting in on the fun.
Geaux Chiefs!
looks like you were right on the money with Chambers and Long getting in on the action
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
Chiefs 48-21
It’s gonna be a high points (passing) game… easily.
Prediction: Tamba gets 10 sacks this year.
I like this score
The team needs to gain some confidence in the passing game and i hope that happens today
i like the score
just don’t believe it’s going to happen.
UCrawford will eventually calm down and realize that Haley isn't a bad coach.

Agreed
Morgan has his coming out party against the Jags. Shows why he was such a highly rated safety coming out
I loved his face when they announced the pick
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!
Who won that trade?
Giants have a Super Bowl, but its not like it was because of Eli. He helped but it was mostly that D-Line. But The Chargers got Rivers, the 3rd round pick that year (Nick Hardwick) and then a 1st and 5th in 05 (Merriman, and then I think they traded the 5th round pick)

hate to be debbie downer
But I’m just not confident in our talent and execution (I hope I’m wrong of course)
Everytime we see favorable matchups on paper (ie chargers run D stinks we should take advantage, chargers pass rush stinks and they crushed cassel, jags pass rush is worse than kc’s) we never take advantage.
I also worry about our D vs a mobile QB in Garrard who can hit the deep pass against our awful safeties.
31-16 jags but I hope I’m wrong

I thought they’d win the games againt washington, oakland, dallas and chargers and have been right once. I know this is a winnable game but I can’t get my hopes up with this team.
Plus who doesn’t think mjd is going to break a long run since big plays happen all the time against the kc D

Haley can't win
No matter what he does, the haters question his move. Our defense held them to a 3 and out and got penetration. We moved the ball well on offense and got 3 pts out of it. I am more than pleased with our start.
Oh well..
FG to start isnt bad
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!
that's fine w me
* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"

He needs an Offensive Coordinator imo

Make it succop!!
Penn State to Kansas City...Always a winning combination.
But Haley called it, so it was a bad call
I think that’s how that works

Because we've failed every other time we tried to go for it
Maybe Haley learned something… errr…. is overcompensating for past mistakes

Cassel....
Is looking like a backup QB
Predictions for 2009:
LJ breaks Chiefs all time rushing record at home
Bowe's numbers regress due to lack of decent QB play.
The D gets better in the second half but still is plagued by big plays
Cassel looks more like the guy Pioli almost cut in the '08 preseason instead of the franchise QB he hoped he would be when he traded him for
Chiefs 6-10
