half a season is better than no season at all

would the leaders please stand up

Star-divide

With the chiefs coming off their bye week gives them the chance to salvage the second half of the season with aims of jump starting an attitude of optimimism for 2010. Beginning today we have a chance to lay the seeds of a foundation for a successful 2010. The chiefs must experience success and numerous victories these last two months or it will be very difficult to dedicate themselves and go all-in withthe new chiefs philosophies that are trying to be built. Jacksonville is a team in a must-win scenario which will make todays game a difficult one but not impossible. The story of the game is like many others. For the chiefs to win today we must stop the run and limit turnovers. I believe playing on the road may be the best medicine for this team and truly believe we can take advantage of a team that talent wise truly isn`t much better than we are. Look for jacksonville to try anything to win today but that shouldnt surprise us in any way as we have been in that position for many weeks now. Lets hope for great effort and execution to propel the chiefs to a successful second half of the year and a catapult towards 2010.      And by all means lets allow our young running backs to shine today so when larry johnson comes off suspension and sets on the bench to end the year and his career here just what kind of commitment it takes to be a good running back and especially a good teammate on this team. The one thing this team needs right now is leadership and hopefully we can find some leaders thiese last 9 weeks.
