Obviously we need a center too....any suggestions?
Lot of OT talk for next year but who can we get for a dominating center?

besides O'Dowd
these guys will be available 3rd round and down.
I like Estes with a 5th round pick after Iupati G bottom of 2nd
and Ciron Black T top of 2nd
We Will kick at least 4 Teams Asses in 09
And Succop will be the Key in two of them.

Steve...
No Way Lupati is there in the bottom of the 2nd, The only way we get him with the falcon pick is if the Falcons pick in the top 12. I imagine we would have to pick him with our 2nd rounder.

it's only because some want him projected as a tackle
Guards should be top 50 picks.
We Will kick at least 4 Teams Asses in 09
And Succop will be the Key in two of them.

Here is a list of OG tooken in the top 50 since 2002...
Kyle Jenkins, Kendall Simmons, Toniu Fonoti, Chester Pitts, Justin Smiley, Logan Mankins, Davin Joseph, Taitusi Lutui, Ben Grubbs, Justin Black, Chilo Rachal
I noticed in every draft except 2009, The best OG came off the board around pick 33 on average. 3 or 4 times the best OG was picked in the 1st round.
Mike Johnson is not the number 1 OG either. Draft Scout, Which is ran by pro scouts, Has Iupatai number 1.
Im sorry im failing to see why you shouldnt take OG in the top 50, That list is pretty solid.

I have seen mock drafts...
with commentary stating Iupati could wind up in the later part of round 1 or early second due in part to some scouts projecting him to tackle. Others question his level of competition, his draft stock won’t be determined until the post season.

Here is one example ... he's projected #18 here

It looks like they are saying he COULD slide over to OT...
Thats not projecting someone at tackle.

"An example"
not the only place I’ve seen it. If someone could play a position they are not currently playing, what is that if not projecting?

What do you mean Gs shouldnt be top 50 picks...
Every single year a G is tooken before 50., Thats ludacris.
I havent seen him projected as a OT either. Ive seen him projected as a 1st round G

How about Mack, Woods or Unger?
Oh crap, forgot that was last year that was the once in a decade year for Centers….
Well at least we got a couple of Defense Ends…

to be fair
the Chiefs didn’t have a shot at any of those guys…
couldn’t pick them at #3… didn’t have a 2nd round pick
All three of those guys were long gone before KC picked Magee
