Let's Go Jamaal (and the rest of the Chiefs).
Jamaal Charles may do a good job this weekend splitting time with the other Chief backs. But, a brief Flashback
Perhaps a shifty and agile back bodes well for the Chiefs offense with our speckled offensive line. Based on the recent O-line analysis posted by fellow APers, driving blocking isn't our strong suit. Charles may excel with the zone blocking scheme and make that one guy miss to get a solid 4 yards per carry. If we get that, his added threat as a receiver out of the backfield will give the Jaguars defense some trouble.
With the season in limbo (I'm hoping for 10-6), Haley should open up the playbook, and let Cassel loose. Passes of 10 yards or more are our only hope of stretching the defense. Otherwise, teams will stack the box and strangle our rushing game. To do that, Haley should let Cassel have some freedom, read the defense, and pass it down the field. If not that, then short slants to the PlayMaker Dwayne Bowe. I was impressed with Bowe's tenacity and aggressiveness after catches the last game.
Tamba Hali is our impact player on defense and they need to scheme him to get more pressure on quarterbacks. Pressure up front determines how our defense will perform, but I'm hoping we get an offensive explosion to outscore the Jags. That's a long shot, but we really have a developing D.
Here's to wishful thinking and a great Sunday. Let's go Chiefs!!!!!

jacksonville worries me, Drew is our worst nightmare
Garrard has the ability to move around a bit to avoid our few sack attempts…I dont know, but I dont like this matchup.

line stunts?
When was the last time the line has attempted any type of stunt? I haven’t seen all of the games, but the ones I have, it seems that it’s always straight up man on man. Is this just a biproduct of the 3-4 D?

A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
