Charles will jumpstart offense.
Hello all,
I feel like this is a major possibility and also could be a huge jumpstart for the KC offense with Charles being the feature back....assuming he can stay healthy. Not only do I feel that the Chiefs have an excellent opportunity to beat the Jags, but I think we could drop 20+ on them. Thoughts? Is Jamall sturdy enough to be a feature back, or is he really just a change of pace back? We shall see this weekend, and like the past post said, we are 0-0 in the 2nd half of the season.

I hope you're right
The thing about Charles, is we have never seen him used on an every down basis.
We typically see LJ run up the linemens back 10 times in a row and then Charles gets a carry and its kind of a shock the difference in speed and running style. I think the defenses get used to LJs slower approach to the hole and get surprised when you throw Charles in there.
Is Charles just that explosive or if the defenses see him carry all day will they catch up to his speed? That is the question.

i have hope for him
and i have to believe that there’s a way to use him as a feature back without running him through the tackles 15 (or more) times a game.
i have to notice his stellar 5.3 yard rushing average for his NFL career (thanks, Matt Grbac)
i think honestly that his success will be determined by the way they get him the ball. i think he’s definitely able to make some plays.
if rhymes were valiums, i'd be comfortably numb
