No Rushing TDs in 2009? Check this out

It's 8 weeks into the season and no rushing TDs for Chiefs fans. I needed something to make me think otherwise so I decided to dig up some archive footage:

Since we don't have any rushing TDs this year, I found plenty in just one game in 2004. Here's highlight of your Kansas City Chiefs setting an NFL record for rushing TDs in one game back in 2004

Enjoy die hards!

You think any team would have a chance to break this single game record?

Whats surprising was

when you hear the commentator say “going up against the No.1 rush defense in the league…” and our beloved Chiefs put up 8 rushing TDs.

Thats how you make a statement.

Predictions as of 06.24.2009.

Larry Johnson will be a top 3 fantasy pick once again in 2010 (after a monster season in 2009.)
Dwayne Bowe will be a 2009 Pro Bowl selection.
Brandon Flowers will have at least 6 INTs in 2009 season.
Todd Haley will have a sideline shouting match caught on TV yelling at one of his asst. coaches.

Made me feel worse

They made it look so damn easy. It should be illegal to have an O-Line like that along with Tony G and T-Rich leading the way.

How can you tempt us like that? :(

Pop quiz

Q. Since 2000, the Chiefs have drafted 2 O-Linemen in the first 4 rounds. Who are they?
A. Brandon Albert and Brett Williams – round 4 in 2003.

And we wonder why we have no rushing TD’s.

Its pretty obvious.

:(

That was beautiful.. Too bad that won’t happen again.. I think we’ll be a dominant running team in two years.. But, never like that..

I love that

about halfway through the video it looks like we stop celebrating after touchdowns because we did it so much that day. Big Willie must have been so scary to play against. At one point he runs at the camera and even I took half a step towards the door I was so scared.

Trying to see the big picture.

Check out the first touchdown

Roaf runs out to get a hit on a cornerback and you can almost see him crap in his pants a little.

LOL supreme...I would've too man..

It’s hard to imagine we were that good under Vermeil. No one has the right to say anything bad about that guy. He made us amazing. We just couldn’t get the defense in time. Oh well what’s new huh?

Kray – I just wanted to point out a correction in your comment.

“We just couldn’t get a defense… still”

A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?

My favorite part of this game

was watching Micheal Vick run for his life. The defense was awesome that day.

Still could have been

AWESOME (in spurts) this season if we have #69 wearing red and gold instead of purple.
