Bobby Wade Is Upgraded on Chiefs Depth Chart

Last week, Mark Bradley was listed as the receiver opposite Chris ChambersThis week, Bobby Wade slides on up to that spot.

Wade had two receptions for 20 yards yesterday.  He was inactive for the first two games of the Chambers era but coach Todd Haley was quick to emphasize that it was just a numbers game at the time.

Bradley registered no catches in yesterday's game.  He was remembered for a drop near the first down marker.

The other changes are minor.

Safety: DaJuan Morgan is the No. 2 FS and SS with Maurice Leggett to IR

Kick returner: Quinten Lawrence takes Dantrell Savage's No. 2 spot on kick returns.

Early in the season, the Chiefs depth chart had been talked about because there were so many changes week to week.  But as the season progresses there are few (if any) changes.

So no safeties being signed

means we’re cool with DaJuan Morgan?

I dont' mind him

I think he has potential…

* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season
* Stats are for losers

to be fair

that wasn’t the best pass… I’d say that was only about 50% his fault there.

But, You do have to wonder what his role with this team is…

Especially when Bowe gets back…

Stag

I really appreciate your positive analysis most of the time, but don’t you think the biggest factor in Bradley’s drop had more to do with the San Diego defender headed in his direction to deliver a hard shot than the less than accurate pass from Cassel? I was really hoping this guy would step it up this year; he has been a big disappointment so far & is rapidly moving toward the next WR to be sent on their merry way in my opinon.

Chambers Should be #1

Even when Bowe comes back, Wade is competitive for the #2 position

i agree

Make chambers no. 1 reciever to make bowe work for it. Bowe was handed the no 1 spot because there was nobody to take it from him. Maybe this will motivate bowe to step it up.

what the hell, bradley?

i remember thinking he’d be our solid #2 this year. his been one of the biggest disappointments thus far. he’s really blown every opportunity haley’s given him. sucks.

My opinion: Chambers, Wade, Bowe, Long in that order

Bowe needed a wake up call (again) and maybe him being suspended did that. His personal immaturity keeps shining through. The coaches having to beg him to take this seriously and being moved to 3rd apparently didn’t work. The excuse of being overworked by Haley was a cop out on his part. Funny how no one else had to resort to pills. When he gets back, he needs to be put at 3 and stay there to watch Chambers and see how it’s done.

Yeah, let's just keep matriculatin' the ball down the field, boys! ...
